Tasting Notes: Bright and limpid with a touch of sweet fruit aromas, such as banana and apple, and a hint of citrus on the nose. Very warm, with crisp apple notes on the palate. Frequently used in both dry and sweet cocktails.
Growing & Harvesting Conditions: The grapes used in Acholado Pisco are grown on trellises so that grape clusters aren’t crowded on each plant. This spacing, together with the wide-ranging temperatures in the Santa Cruz de Lanchas valley, further develops the flavor and a highly characteristic aroma of the grapes.
Distillation Conditions: 1615 Acholado Pisco is a meticulous blend of both non-aromatic (Quebranta) and aromatic (Italia y Torontel) grape varieties. The pisco is distilled to proof, with no additions made to the still during distillation.
