Gordon Estate is located in the heart of the Columbia Valley in Washington State. They take great pride in being the oldest estate winery in Washington State by using only estate-grown grapes in making superb, handcrafted Washington wines.
In 1980, Jeff Gordon, along with his wife, Vicki and brother Bill decided to plant wine grapes on a sagebrush-covered slope overlooking the Snake River in Southeastern Washington’s Columbia Valley. At the time the vineyard was planted, there were 19 wineries in Washington and less than 5,000 acres of wine grapes in production.
Tasting note: Sage, mint, oregano, violets, rose petals, orange zest, rainbow peppercorns and more all play hide and seek in the aromas of our 2010 Estate Syrah
