Maverick may have been founded recently, in 2004, but its vineyards have seen many a vintage and in some cases pre-date the winery by over a century! It’s winery in the Barossa Valley is home to historic, low yielding grape vines. Yet, whilst Maverick’s grape vines may have a lot of history, its approach to its winemaking is very progressive. *Awarded 92 Points by James Halliday*
Tasting Notes: Blackberry, cherry and exotic spice characters are supported by a voluptuous palate and finely-textured, velvety tannins.
