Heering Cherry liqueur is the purveyor to H.M. Queen Elizabeth II of United Kingdom and H.M. Queen Margrethe II of Denmark, and is the original Cherry Brandy. Already mid 1800 the family Heering tried to trademark the name of Cherry Brandy. Cherry Brandy is Heering Cherry.

Coffee Heering Liqueur is a line extension to Heering Cherry Liqueur and was launched in July 2008. Heering Coffee Liqueur is a delicious, rare blend of Caribbean rum, dark coffee and rich cocoa, perfect for both warm and cold cocktails but it can also be consumed neat or as a digestif. The liqueur is full bodied and produced without any artificial ingredients, colours or flavours.
Heering Latte is one of the signature cocktails. Simply heat up warm milk and add Heering Coffee.
1818 - Peter F. Heering was founded 1818 in Copenhagen by the young grocer’s assistant Peter Fredrik Suhm Heering.
1884 - Heering Cherry Liqueur becomes purveyor to the Royal Danish Court
1901 - Heering Cherry Liqueur becomes a purveyor to the King of England
1915 - The legendary bartender Mr Ngiam Tong Boon concocted the very first cocktail to achieve global fame by mixing 30ml gin, 15ml Heering Cherry Liqueur, 120 pineapple juice, 15ml lime juice7,5ml Cointreau, 7,5ml Dom Benedictine, 10ml Grenadine and a dash of Angostura Bitters. Shaken not stirred. Heering Cherry Liqueur is part of the original recipe.
1920 - Classic Blood & Sand got its name from the 1922 film starring Rudolf Valentino as a bullfighter.
1950-60’s - Cheery Heering is distributed in 158 markets world wide.
2008 - Coffee Heering introduced in autumn 2008.
2009 - The Heering world championship in fashion mixing and drink designing is launched with the final in Singapore June 2009. The Copenhagen cocktail was born in August 2009
2010 - Taste of history - a bottle Heering Cherry liqueur from 1888 opens up in NYC at the Campbell Apartment. Auction of old Heering Cherry bottle from 1818 during the autumn.

Heering is an essential ingredient in the world famous Singapore Sling, created by the legendary bartender Mr Ngiam Tong Boon in the Long Bar at the legendary Raffles Hotel in Singapore 1915.
The Blood and Sand that got its name from the 1922 film starring Rudolf Valentino as a bullfighter is another example of a classic cocktail where Heering Cherry is a key ingredient. The earliest reference to this drink is in the Savoy Cocktail Book, first published in 1930.
Moving in to the modern world - The Copenhagen cocktail was created autumn 2009, the official taste of the Danish capital by the official Danish convention, event and visitors bureau, Wonderful Copenhagen.
