Anane is a family owned company located in the heart of the Maule Valley in Chile. The state has 665 hectares of vineyards in the estate the the Winemaker Renato Guerra and sons have worked to produce exceptional wines from a land that has been owned by the family for four generations. Today, Guerra's family combines over 100 years of winemaking experience with state of the art technology.
The Vineyards are located along the banks of the Maule River in Chile, between the Andes Mountains and the Pacific Ocean. This region has a privileged Mediterranean type climate with cold nights and warm days, providing the necessary combination to obtain healthy, top quality grapes. Rain falls in winter during June and August. The soil is mostly alluvial, with medium depth and open texture. In general, the soil has good drainage capacity and excellent conditions for a balanced growth of the vines.
The main cellar is found in one of the vineyards, on the banks of the Maule River, in the Maule Valley in Chile. It has one of the most modern facilities in Chile, with wine-making capacity of nearly 6 million litres in stainless steel vats and more than 2,000 french oak barrels, with sufficient high technology fermentation and holding vats to process the best grapes and obtain the best wines.
