For more than a century, four generations of Albin’s family have been handing down their wine-growing and vinifying expertise from father to son, working together to perpetuate the proud traditions and fine quality of the estate.
Scattered all over the small appellations area, the vineyard plots perfectly represent the diversity of Chateauneuf du Pape soil and grape varieties. Thirteen registered vine varieties make up the complex blend. All are harvested in small plots by hand when ripe; resulting in very low yields of around 25hl/ha. The most important varieties in the blend are Grenache, Mourvedre, Syrah and Cinsault.
The wine is left to macerate for 20 days, resulting in a rich ruby colour and a complex bouquet of red fruits, spices and truffles.
