Constantini, who make the Febe wines, have been making wine in Abruzzo for over a century, starting back in 1910. A constant aim over the last 100 years was for the family to make better quality wines every vintage, while respecting the historic landscape and investing in the vineyard and cellar. Antonio Costantini leads the family company today, and attributes the high quality of the wines to the fantastic micro climate he works in; stretching from the Gran Sasso Mountains to the Adriatic Sea.
The wines are made very traditionally. They are picked by hand and monitored carefully during vinification to create very vibrant, fruitful wines. Wines from Abruzzo are renowned for their easy drinking yet complex styles, which pair easily with food and can also be enjoyed without.
