Genever
Genever (or jenever) is the original style of gin from Holland. Genever differs from gin in that although it is flavoured with juniper, the taste need not be discernable. Genevers are made from maltwine – moutwijn - which tends to give a greater depth and complexity of malt flavour and an overall sweeter finish. Genevers can be drunk straight or are suited as a premium ingredient in luxury cocktails. More information on Genever
