Sloe
Sloe Gin isn't technically a gin but rather a liqueur; it is a sweetened spirit that is traditionally made by infusing sloes (fruit of the blackthorn tree) in gin. Alternatively, an ‘autumn’ fruit such as damson can be used. It is often considered a traditional winter warmer. Sweet fruit flavours with a slight bitterness followed by a dry finish. Drink straight in a small glass or in a variety of cocktails. More information on Gin
