Terrimbo is a venture by Jacky Loos and Philippe Gard of the Coume del Mas winery in Collioure in South-West France. “Terrimbo” takes its name from a beautiful beach indentation of the Mediterranean, south of Banyuls and Collioure where the vineyards are situated. The vineyards and winery are run according to organic practices and in the next 2 years will be officially certified organic.
The wine is a blend of Grenache, Mourvedre and Carignan and has been fermented in new oak and subsequently aged in used oak for 18 months. Despite only being the first vintage, this wine has already been awarded 91/100 by The Wine Advocate and 91/100 from Revue des Vins de France.
