Quite different from a classical jonge genever. Roggenaer is produced from rye maltwine and two redistilled rye maltwines. It could be considered a rye eau-de-vie that has been partly matured in oak casks for at least three years.
A recognisable taste of rye, with a hint of sourness, shines through a gentle palate. Try as an aperitif for a memorable drinking experience.
