The Vrinioti family winery, located on the island of Evia, was established in 2002. But, the relationship with wine goes back to when Konstantinos Vriniotis's ancestors started planting vines in the area and built an old traditional stone winery. The 45 hectare estate is farmed organically and planted with Syrah and the Greek red Vradiano and white grapes Assyrtiko and Malagouzia.
Tasting Note: Aromas of ripe lemon, white flowers, biscuit and oryktotitas. On the palate thickness that balances the acidity xyrafati, endless freshness and a long, enjoyable aftertaste full of fruit and energy. Delicious already, with development potential for at least 3 years. A wine with good balance between the rigor of Santorini and the richness of the wines of Alsace.
Awarded 89 points from Robert Parker (wine critic).
