Sauvignon Blanc
Sauvignon Blanc, originally from France's Loire region, is a widely planted grape variety the world over. Crisp, dry and aromatic with strong gooseberries, nettles aromas. New Zealand leads the New World with wines including strong tropical fruit elements produced from a long, cool fermentation. Fruit is often picked when underripe, ripe and overripe to bring a variety of different characteristics to the finished wine. Chile and South Africa also produce premium Sauvignon Blanc.
