Auguste Bonhomme’s estate is based on the Atlantic side of France’s Loire Valley and has been family run for five generations. They have a 15 hectare domaine and produce stunning wines. Rosé d’Anjou is the most important production of the Angers vineyards. It has to contain at less 10 grammes sugar per litre.
Grape Varieties: Grolleau / Gamay.
Tasting Notes: This nice bottle is presented in the original Anjou blazon bottle. Crystal clear with a salmon pink hue and a beautiful intensity. The bouquet is reminiscent of red berries. The palate is expressive, rich and aromatic with a hint of liquorice and toffee. The clear, fresh and tasty finish is balanced by a fine acidity. Serve very fresh, it can be a fresh and refreshing aperitif.
