Gordon Estate is located in the heart of the Columbia Valley in Washington State. They take great pride in being the oldest estate winery in Washington State by using only estate-grown grapes in making superb, handcrafted Washington wines.
In 1980, Jeff Gordon, along with his wife, Vicki and brother Bill decided to plant wine grapes on a sagebrush-covered slope overlooking the Snake River in Southeastern Washington’s Columbia Valley. At the time the vineyard was planted, there were 19 wineries in Washington and less than 5,000 acres of wine grapes in production.
Grape Varieties: 100% Chardonnay
Tasting Notes: Just a hint of green hue reminiscent of new spring growth. Aroma in abundance with melon, papaya, honeysuckle, ripe fresh grapes and touches of vanilla.
