Maison Georges Burrier
Location: Burgundy, France
The Burrier family have been living in the South of Burgundy for 500 years, and have owned Château de Beauregard (where all the white wines are vinified) for six generations. The Burrier family estates (Château de Beauregard, Georges Burrier and Joseph Burrier Domains) constitute one of the major properties of Southern Burgundy; an exceptional estate with 43 hectares of vineyards spread across the area that include 22ha of Pouilly-Fuissé and 7ha of Saint-Véran.
The vineyards are managed to promote microbial life in the soil and to encourage deep rooting of the vines. In the cellar the wines are allowed time to ferment slowly and to clarify naturally, enabling the wines to acquire the true expression of their “Terroir”.
