Kings County Distillery is New York City’s oldest operating whiskey distillery, the first since prohibition. Founded in 2010 by Colin Spoelman and David Haskell, they make handmade moonshine and bourbon out of the 115-year-old Paymaster Building in the Brooklyn Navy Yard.
Tasting Notes: Characterised by a rich aroma of fresh corn, balanced with the sweet caramelised oak sap from small barrels. It has a very strong sweet base with flavours of vanilla, caramel, hints of cinnamon and autumn spices.
Awards: Bronze Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
