Wormwood gives Bäska Droppar its distinctive character. The herb is typical of southern Sweden and, according to tradition, the wormwood should be picked on Bartholomew’s night on the 24th of August. The seasoning was created in the early 1900’s and consists of a powerful, bitter wormwood spirit, which is said to help with digestion.
Tasting Notes: Big, spicy aroma with a distinct character of wormwood, hints of cinnamon and bitter orange.
