Correlejo is handmade and handcrafted tequila, made from 100% Blue Weber agave. Don Leonardo Rodriguez Moreno revived the Corralejo name in 1994 on the site of the original hacienda of Miguel Hidalgo, the father of Mexican independence. Hidalgo built the estate in 1755 and was one of the pioneers of agave distillation methods.
Corralejo Blanco comes straight off the copper pot still and is bottled without ageing. It best captures the authentic character of the Blue Weber agave.
Tasting Notes: This clear and colourless tequila will offer aromas of white and pink peppercorns with herbal undertones and a defined agave herbal and citrus flavour with hints of peppermint to the palate.
