A citrus-forward gin with aromatic spices, peaches and apricots'. Jindea Darjeeling Tea Gin is a result of a partnership between three bar scene experts, including Matthew Dakers and Jack Rackham from Emporia, a London-based spirit distribution and export company and Adrian Gomes, owner of two Scottish bars and events company 10 Dollar Shake.
The spirit is produced in a traditional alembic copper pot still to a classic London Dry gin recipe containing 10 botanicals including Darjeeling Tea. As well as subtle flavours from Darjeeling Tea the gin contains flavours of juniper, lemon, grapefruit, coriander, ginger, fennel, cardamon, cinnamon and Angelica.
Nose: Fresh and aromatic, with elegant tea notes.
Palate: Drying and aromatic, with a touch of ginger spiciness.
