The inspiration behind making Prucia comes from the French tradition of preserving plums in wine or spirits. Though in France, only the preserved plum is eaten and the spirit is discarded, the creators of Prucia were struck with the idea to use that very spirit as a base for a delicious liqueur.

Made in France with locally-produced Golden Japanese Ume plums, Prucia is made by macerating the plums in grape spirit before ageing in limousin oak brandy casks. There are many was to enjoy Prucia – on the rocks, mixed with soda or with Champagne.
