Aplauso is the sparkling wine project from leading Bairrada producer Regateiro.
This is from the cool, temperate Bairrada region, which influenced by the Atlantic Ocean. Soils are a combination of clay and limestone, poor in nutrients.
After a cool alcoholic fermentation, using the classic method, a second fermentation is carried out in bottle and the wine then ages for 9 months in cellar on yeast lees before one month of “remouage” and then disgorgement.
Grape: Baga, Touriga Nacional, Pinot Noir.
Tasting Notes: Fresh, crisp, floral traditional method sparkler with delicate citrus fruits and subtle bready notes; a perfect aperitif.
Food Match: Great alone or with fresh oysters and crudites.
