Christelle Sauboua has managed the 16 hectares of vineyards of her property Château Les Tours de Peyrat since the 1990s. Formerly run by her parents, it is located in the village of Saint Paul de Blaye, in the heart of the Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux appellation, a hilly region on the right bank of Bordeaux lying on clay-limestone soil, ideal for the production of Merlot-dominated red wines. The property has been certified organic since 2013.
Grape Varieties: 80% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Malbec

Tasting Notes: A deep purple colour, with a nose which combines ripe forest fruits with a hint of coffee and high quality oak. Elegant palate with lush, velvety tannins. Well-rounded with a lingering finish that displays great character for the price.
Food Match: Ideal with braised meat such as veal or shin of beef.
