The wine is made by Francisco Baptista, who founded this project based on exploring the different terroirs of Vinho Verde in 2009.
The Vinho Verde region is based at the northern end of Portugal where the temperate climate is heavily influenced by the Atlantic. The local landscape is green and lush with many vines still trained on tradtional overhead trellises. This wine hails from the broader Minho region, which includes Vinho Verde itself. Alvarinho is one of the predominant white grape varieties of the region.
The destemmed grapes undergo a long gentle pressing before fermentation in stainless steel tank.
