The wine is made by Francisco Baptista, who founded this project based on exploring the different terroirs of Vinho Verde in 2009.
The Vinho Verde region is based at the northern end of Portugal where the temperate climate is heavily influenced by the Atlantic. The local landscape is green and lush with many vines still trained on tradtional overhead trellises. This wine hails from the Monção e Melgaço sector, known for its granite and gravel soils. Alvarinho lends weight and richness while the Loureiro grape provides freshness and acidity.
Gentle pressing of the grapes and a cool fermentation to preserve the fresh primary fruit characters.
