La Grande Année is Bollinger's very fine vintage Champagne cuvée. 2012 reflects the excellent quality of the vintage, showing plenty of lively acidity to balance the house's oxidative style brilliantly.
65% Pinot Noir, 35% Chardonnay from 21 crus: mainly Aÿ and Verzenay for Pinot Noir, Le Mesnil-sur-Oger and Oiry for Chardonnay. Barrel fermented in older oak, in the Bollinger oxidative style. Matured under cork. Dosage 8 g/L.
