Bonpland Rouge & Blanc VSOP Twin Gift Pack

In 1799, the French physician and natural scientist, Aimé Bonpland, embarked on an epoch-making journey of discovery through America, together with Alexander von Humboldt, known as the German Columbus. Bonpland’s notes and discoveries are to thank for the thousands of new plant species and animal genera.

Bonpland, who later tended Napoleon’s imperial gardens and taught as a professor in Argentina, summarised his findings in literary form. His drive for new discoveries in both the old and the new world, makes Aimé Bonpland the namesake of a rum that connects the greatest treasures of distant distilleries, with the artistry of old German craftsmanship.

Bonpland Rouge VSOP: Wood and tannins are perfectly integrated with a dry finish on the palate. Aromas of chocolate, coffee, raisins and red berry fruits.

Bonpland Blanc Signature: Fruity and buttery character. Aromas of vanilla, dried stone fruit and orange, gives it its elegant lightness. It has a mild and smooth finish.
