Considered to be one of the best producers in Lugana, owning a substantial area of vineyards, Cà dei Frati produces exceptional quality wines. 100% Turbiana (a variety known until recently as Trebbiano di Lugana, but renamed because it has no genetic relationship with the rather dull Trebbiano Toscano grape - it is, in fact, the same grape variety as Verdicchio), this is vinified in tank and has excellent depth, layers of flavour ranging from white peach to almond blossom and lemons
