Chateau Suduiraut is a Sauternes premier cru and the great 2010 vintage is made from a blend of Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc. With an extensive life-span, this delicious botrytised French dessert wine powerfully and harmoniously combines fruit and floral aromas with roasted and candied notes.
Chateau Suduiraut is classified as 1er Cru Classé, and was founded in the 15th Century. The well-located vineyards border those of Yquem, and consists of 80% Semillon and 20% Sauvignon, which typically makes up the blend, which is aged in 33% new French oak barriques for 2 years following fermentation. The 2010 is one of the best wines of an outstanding vintage.
