Les Gres Chardonnay IGP

Founded  in  1967,  Vignobles  Foncalieu  are  a  cooperative  of  wine  growers  from  the  South  of  France  located  in  the  Languedoc,  Côtes  du  Roussillon  and  Southern  Rhône  regions.  They  work  to  produce  wines  of  exceptional  quality  from  a  wide  range  of  vineyard  sites  to  offer  a  broad  selection  of  styles,  and  have  invested  significantly  in  a  modernised  winery  and  hugely  experienced  winemaking  team.  In  2017,  Vignobles  Foncalieu  made  their  entrance  in  the  prestigious  selection  of  “The  World’s  Most  Admired  Wine  Brands”  selection.

Farming Practices: Vegan- cointains sulphites

Grape varieties: 100%  Chardonnay

Tasting notes: A  fruity  nose  with  prominent  peach  and  pear  aromas  and  delicatefloral  notes.  Intense  fruit  and  a  great  length  of  flavour  on  the  palate.

Food Match: Perfect  with  seafood  dishes  such  as  scallops
