Plantation O.F.T.D. Rum

Created to be an old school, full flavour British Naval overproof rum, Plantation Old Fashioned Traditional Dark is a blend of high strength rums from Jamaica, Guyana and Barbados. On the palate, smokey molasses are joined with caramel, vanilla and ripe banana, becoming dry and slightly woody with a touch of chocolate.

Plantation OFTD is the result of collaboration from six of the best known Tiki bartenders from around the world plus Dave Wondrich, cocktail historian, to make a rum that is ideally suited for use in traditional tiki cocktails and any mixed drink that requires a robust naval rum. The name was coined when Dave Wondrich tasted the final blend, although the words that came out his mouth were not Old Fashioned Traditional Dark.
