The Macallan Red Collection 78 Year Old Single Malt Whisky 70cl
The Macallan Red Collection 78 Year Old is the oldest Scotch ever to come out of the distillery. Magnificent, with an utterly-unique profile: fresh apple, peach and nutmeg make way for sumptuous dried fruit and toffee.

Starting with our founder Alexander Reid's name—literally "The Red," through The Macallan's 'Choice Old' line released over a century ago in 1903, to Allan Shiach designating old bottles of The Macallan with a red ribbon in the 1980s, the characteristic red colour weaves its way through Macallan's history.
A blend of fresh fruits, including apple, peach, and grape, transitions to fresh lime and verbena. A delicious dark chocolate and dried fruit sensation emerges fast from antique timber and velvety leather. A mix of dates and raisins make up the dried fruits. Finally, a delectable vanilla cake. Nutmeg and ginger expand into rich dried fruits like raisin, prune, and date, with a hint of almond nuttiness. With intense treacle toffee and a baked apple sweetness, the oak-rich whisky is warming yet dry. A long, thought-provoking finish that includes all of the aromas and flavours from the nose and palate.
