Wheat whiskies from the US

American wheat whisky needs to contain at least 51% wheat in the mashbill. It may also use the term "straight" if it has been aged for at least two years in brand-new charred-oak casks. The mildest of our three flavours, Wheat Whisky is unlike any other American-style whisky on the market. It turns out that the wheat creates a buttery, flavorful, and smooth spirit that makes for a great introduction to whisky.
