Bernard-Massard is Luxembourg's leading brand. Luxembourg may not be the first place people think of for wine production, but most of its vineyards lie on the west bank of the famed Mosel river, source of some of Germany's finest Riesling wines and a crisply cool-climate place to grow grapes - ideal for sparkling wine.
A family managed company, Bernard-Massard is Luxembourg's main producer of traditional method sparkling, making 3.5 million bottles a year. After over 90 years of wine making, their values of quality and entrepreneurship from founder Jean Bernard-Massard remain true to this day. Their single vineyard, Clos des Rochers, has belonged to the Clasen family since the 19th century and has been managed in partnership with Bernard-Massard since 1982.
