Elk Cove Oregon wines

Elk Cove is one of Oregon’s oldest and most respected wineries. With their first vines planted in 1974 by the Campbell family, and wines made since 1977, Elk Cove are one of the pioneers of Oregon winemaking and remain a leading light in the region. Adam Campbell today works with his parents as the full time winemaker, keeping the business family owned and run. He oversees 380 planted acres (154 hectares) across 6 distinct sites, all in the prestigious northern Willamette Valley.

The original Estate vineyards are located in the Yamhill-Carlton AVA, where Elk Cove was the first winery to be established. Their Goodrich and Mount Richmond vineyards are also in Yamhill-Carlton, while Five Mountain and Clay Court vineyards are in the Chehalem Mountains AVA. Elk Cove produce a range of varietal wines, but with a particular focus on Pinot Noir, especially top-quality, single-vineyard bottlings that express the differences in their sites.

Our selection of Elk Cove wines includes a number of their single vineyards, such as Mount Richmond, Five Mountain, Goodrich and Clay Court. But we also have their Willamette Valley Pinot Noir, giving an introduction to the variety in Oregon, as well as varietal Pinot Gris and Riesling - both classic white varieties for the region.
