Fess Parker Santa Barbara wines

Fess Parker founded his winery in Santa Barbara County in 1989. 90 minutes’ drive north of Los Angeles, Santa Barbara is one of the most exciting places for cool-climate Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Despite being so far south, Santa Barbara’s valleys open out directly onto the Pacific Ocean, so the ocean's cooling influence is particularly pronounced. Still family-owned, Fess Parker specialise in estate-grown Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, as well as some Rhône varieties, and have become a leading light for the region, with wines regularly scoring highly with critics such as Jeb Dunnuck and Antonio Galloni.

Most recently, their 2018 Pommard Clone Pinot Noir (95 points) and 2018 Clone 115 Pinot Noir (94 points) took 2 of the top 5 places in Decanter magazine's November 2021 review of premium California Pinot Noir. With their 2019 Santa Rita Hills Pinot Noir (93 points) also scoring well, we've secured the final stocks of all three wines, and are making available for pre-shipment orders, with a special 10% off any 6 mixed bottles and 15% off 12 mixed bottles of these three wines. Our range focuses on Fess Parker's Pinot Noir and Chardonnay wines, with the clonal selections supported by single-vineyard expressions such as Ashley's Pinot Noir. Look out too for their bold, Rhône blend, The Big Easy, and for Parker Station, the easy-drinking introductory brand founded by Fess Parker, as well as Addendum, the family's Cabernet Sauvignon project, based around the famed Rutherford Bench in Napa Valley.
