1) What is the minimum order amount for FREE Delivery?
The minimum order amount to qualify for FREE delivery is subject to a minimum value of £100 Inc. VAT (1-3 working days). For small orders, shipping charges are applied at the checkout, which are dependent on the weight and location of where the Items are being delivered.
2) When will my order be delivered?
We aim to ship items within the same working day, subject to availability of stock and that the order has been placed before 12:30pm for standard delivery of 1-3 working days. If your order still has not arrived after three working days, please email firstname.lastname@example.org, quoting your order number.
3) I have placed an order for delivery but it still hasn’t arrived?
Please get in touch with our online team on 0208 951 9840 or email email@example.com where a member will be able to advice you on the status of your delivery and expected time of arrival.
4) Can I place an order over the telephone?
Unfortunately, we do not offer a telephone ordering service at present. You can order directly from the Amathus online shop or visit any of our five stores in the UK.
5) Can I come back to order at a later date?
Please log into your account before adding items to the shopping basket. If you happen to log out of your account and then back in, the items will remain in the basket until you either remove or pay for them. Please note adding an item to the basket does not reserve it in our warehouse and item(s) may go out of stock before you return to the checkout. At this point, you will be notified at the checkout.

7) Can I send a gift message with my order?
Yes - when ordering a gift there is an option for you to add a personalised gift message when placing your order at the checkout. Your message will be printed to a gift label which be affixed to your gift for delivery. Please note that only a delivery note will be sent with the order. This service is available at no extra-cost.
8) Can I purchase gift vouchers?
You can buy Amathus gift vouchers at any of our five stores around the UK, the gift vouchers can only be redeemed in stores and cannot be used for online purchases. You can choose to purchase gift vouchers in denomination of £5, £10, £20 and £50.
9) Do you deliver to addresses outside of the UK?
For wine deliveries outside the UK, kindly contact our wine fine sales manager by emailing her on email@example.com. For spirit products, please forward your query to firstname.lastname@example.org.
10) Can I get my order to be delivered to a different address?
Yes, you can choose to have your order delivered to another address other than the billing address. Please enter the name and the address of the person you would like to send the goods to. Please note some orders may be subject to passing additional security checks, which can possibly delay the shipment date. If this is the case, you will be notified via email and we may ask for a proof of billing to validate your order.
11) What payment methods do you accept?
We are happy to accept all major types of credit and debit cards including VISA, Mastercard and Maestro. Please note that we do not accept American Express. We also require that cards are registered to the billing address (where the card is registered to with the bank) and that they be registered with 3D secure. This is to ensure that all payments are made on a secure network and all customers are protected against any fraudulent activity.

13) I would like to collect my order in store, when will this be ready?
If you would like to collect your order from an Amathus store and save on delivery costs, this will usually, take 1-2 working days. This is subject to availability of stock, which will be confirmed within one hour of the order being placed. A member of staff at the store will give you a call once your order is ready for collection. You will be required to show proof of ID and payment card used before we can hand over the goods. Please note that 'click and collect' orders placed after 12:30pm on a Friday for will be unavailable for collection over the weekend. You will need to wait until the following Monday to collect the order from your nominated store.
You may also choose to collect your order from any one of our warehouses located in Park Royal (NW10 7ST), Coventry (CV1 4LD) or Avonmouth in Bristol (BS11 9QD) and save delivery charges then we would be happy to meet you to hand over your products! Please allow up to three working days if you wish to collect your order from our warehouses in Coventry or Bristol. Please note that we are not responsible for arranging the transport of your order from the warehouse so please arrive with suitable means to take the goods away. Please ensure that you have valid ID along with the billing card with you, as we will check this before allowing the goods to leave the warehouse.
15) How can I track or check the status of my order?
Unfortunately, we do not provide a tracking service for you to check the status of your order. You will recieve a notification from the driver on the day to confirm the delivery-window of when the Item(s) will be delivered.
16) How much does delivery cost?
We offer a flat standard delivery charge of £6.49 Inc.VAT Up to 20KG (1-3 working days) Over 20KG: £1.50 per extra 5KG.

18) Do you stock ethical products?
Yes, We are pleased to support producers who implement initiatives that benefit the environment and their local communities. We stock a wide range of organic wines / spirits, vegan, biodynamic and sustainable wines at Amathus. If you would like to know more, just click HERE to see our products in these categories.
19) I am holding an event and would like to order some drinks?
If you are holding an event and would like to order some drinks, please get in touch and a member of staff will be able to confirm your requirements before placing your order.
20) What happens if I am not in during the day of delivery?
If you are not in during the delivery window, the driver will return the goods to our warehouse and will attempt to re-deliver the next working day. In the first instance, please get in contact with our customer service team whom will be able to advise you further. For some regions that we do not cover via the Amathus lorry, your order will be delivered via our nominated courier (APC). The courier will usually deliver your goods anytime between the hours of 8am – 4pm (weekdays). Alternatively, the courier may leave it in a safe place (please specify this within the delivery instructions at the checkout) or they will leave a card with details of how to collect your order or re-arrange delivery.
There will be a consignment number on the card which you will be able to track the status of your order HERE and get in contact with the courier to arrange re-delivery which is free of charge. Alternatively, you can call the customer service team whom will be able to advise on the status on your order.
21) Do I have to sign for delivery?
Yes, all deliveries will be required to be signed on delivery. Please note that an adult over the age of 18 must be present at the address to sign for the goods and will be required to show proof of ID. You must not buy alcohol on behalf of under 18's. We apply "Challenge 21" policy to all delivery and collection orders. We will not supply if the person receiving or collecting orders appears under the age of 21.
