2nd wine of top Margaux Chateau Palmer, Alter Ego de Palmer is always smooth and supple, due to a high proportion of Merlot, and is a brilliant wine in its own right. The exceptional 2019 vintage is 52% Merlot, 41% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 7% Petit Verdot and has expressive raspberries, black cherry notes, peppercorn and spice with leather and fine grained tannins.
