AMATHUS SOHO

Originally from New Delhi, India, my journey in hospitality has taken me across three continents, allowing me to experience a wide variety of cuisines, cultures and drinking traditions. I have worked in restaurants and luxury hotels in India, Australia and Canada, primarily as a Restaurant Manager and Sommelier, where I discovered that my greatest passion lies in connecting people with memorable food and drink experiences.

Driven by a desire to continually develop my knowledge, I completed a Master's degree in Hospitality Management at Le Cordon Bleu, Australia, alongside achieving WSET Level 3 qualifications in both Wine and Spirits. For me, education never really ends, and I'm always looking for opportunities to expand my understanding of the world of wine, spirits and hospitality.

What fascinates me most about wine and spirits is that every bottle has a story to tell. Whether it's a centuries-old family estate, an innovative young producer, or a distillery pushing the boundaries of tradition, I enjoy discovering the people, places and history behind what's in the glass. I believe that sharing these stories is just as rewarding as recommending the perfect bottle.

Food, travel and hospitality have always gone hand in hand for me. Exploring new destinations often revolves around visiting local wineries, distilleries, markets and restaurants, learning about regional traditions and bringing those experiences back with me. Every journey offers a new perspective and another chapter in my ongoing education.

I'm delighted to be part of the team at Amathus Soho, where every day brings the opportunity to learn something new, discover exciting producers, and help customers find wines and spirits they'll genuinely enjoy. Whether guiding someone towards a special bottle for a celebration or introducing them to something they've never tried before, I find great satisfaction in making every visit a memorable experience.
