MARTIN – STORE MANAGER

Originally from Hungary, Martin’s passion for wine began at his family’s winery near Lake Balaton, where he helped during harvests and in the cellar from a young age. That early hands on experience shaped his appreciation for wine and the people behind it.

Martin joined Amathus in June 2024 and now manages the Hampstead store. Champagne is a particular passion of his, especially grower Champagne, and he regularly visits the region to assist small producers during harvest.

He currently holds the WSET Level 3 Award in Wines and plans to pursue the WSET Diploma this year. At Hampstead, Martin most enjoys helping customers discover wines that genuinely excite them.
