Moonshine

Moonshine

Corn and sugar are the typical ingredients for moonshine, and the fermentation process turns the sugar into ethanol, which is then transformed into hooch or moonshine. Alcohol separates from the slurry while distilling. Moonshine is a distilled spirit with a high alcohol concentration because it is not aged, unlike other alcoholic beverages like whisky or bourbon.
