Giacomo Conterno is one of the most sought-after wineries of the Italian region of Piemonte, from whence the ultimate expressions of Nebbiolo can be found. The style here is traditional, with long ageing in old oak producing exquisite wines of great personality. This is brimming with soaring aromas of wild cherry, game, roses and spice. Firm yet ripe, long tannins give perfect balance to the intense fruit

We charge a flat fee of £5.95 for delivery if your order is under 20kg, and £10 inc VAT if it is over 20kg. Free delivery is available for orders above £120 (inc VAT).

For Standard Delivery, we will ship items within 2 working days, provided the order is placed before midday.

For Express Delivery, we will ship items the same day, provided the order is placed before midday.

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipment confirmation email, and the following day, you will receive a text from our courier with a delivery window. If your order has not yet arrived, please email [email protected] and quote your order number.

Keep an eye out for your shipment confirmation email; once you get it, your order will be delivered the next day.

You have the right to cancel your order at any time without being charged for the goods ordered within 14 days of purchase.

If you call us after your item has shipped, we will be unable to cancel it and you will need to return to us.

Description

One of the greatest red wine estates of Piemonte, and therefore Italy Giacomo Conterno flies the flag for traditionally made, long lived expressions of Nebbiolo, with long fermentations and extended ageing in large old oak barrels. Cerretta is a single vineyard in Serralunga acquired in 2008. This is starting to drink well, but will age for a couple more decades
