Rhum Clément was founded by Homere Clément in 1887 in Martinique, a small Caribbean island which has a unique terrior and the perfect tropical climate and humidity for producing rhum. It is the only French Caribbean island to have an AOC appellation, which they recieved in 1996.
With more than 125 years of tradition, Rhum Clément is the no.1 selling Rhum Agricole, produced in Le Francois, Lowland Martinique producing rhums with great elegance.
Tasting Notes: Warm caramel, exotic spice, and dried fruit aromas lead into a soft, silky entry with a moderately off-dry body full of coconut and banana crème brûlée, nut, and dried fruit flavours. Finishes with charred sugarcane, coconut custard, peppery spices and delicate wet minerals. An elegant and exotic treat.
Influenced by the omnipresence of modern art on its production site, the brand Rhum Clément decided to entrust the caribbean artist Jon One with the realisation of a sculpture for Habitation Clément’s park along with the ambitious project of decorating its famed aged rhum bottle.
