Domaine des As is a small estate in the Macon region of Burgundy, currently under organic conversion. The "Raymond Perrin" is a rich, barrel-aged single vineyard Chardonnay from 100-year-old vines, full of ripe, honeyed nectarine and toast notes

We charge a flat fee of £5.95 for delivery if your order is under 20kg, and £10 inc VAT if it is over 20kg. Free delivery is available for orders above £120 (inc VAT).

For Standard Delivery, we will ship items within 2 working days, provided the order is placed before midday.

For Express Delivery, we will ship items the same day, provided the order is placed before midday.

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipment confirmation email, and the following day, you will receive a text from our courier with a delivery window. If your order has not yet arrived, please email [email protected] and quote your order number.

Keep an eye out for your shipment confirmation email; once you get it, your order will be delivered the next day.

You have the right to cancel your order at any time without being charged for the goods ordered within 14 days of purchase.

Description

These are organically made white Burgundies at great prices from a small family-owned winery in the lesser-known village of Peronne, in the region of Macon. The young Maxime Grenot has recently assumed control of winemaking and the estate has been under organic conversion since 2021. Maxime works with unusually old vines and is making clean, characterful well-balanced wines for consumption now and over the next 3-4 years. These are some of the best value white Burgundies we’ve tried.

About the Producer

From just 0.2 hectares of 100 + year old vines, hand harvested and fermented and aged for 10 months in old oak casks. This is an explosively rich white with gorgeous honeyed, nutty peach fruit underpinned with hints of smoke and minerals. Serious depth and quality for the price.
