We charge a flat fee of £5.95 for delivery if your order is under 20kg, and £10 inc VAT if it is over 20kg. Free delivery is available for orders above £120 (inc VAT).

For Standard Delivery, we will ship items within 2 working days, provided the order is placed before midday.

For Express Delivery, we will ship items the same day, provided the order is placed before midday.

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipment confirmation email, and the following day, you will receive a text from our courier with a delivery window. If your order has not yet arrived, please email [email protected] and quote your order number.

Description

The Jurançon region in Southwest France is known for its rich, aromatic dry whites and outstanding dessert wines. The main varieties used here are the local Gros and Petit Manseng. The 16 hectare Domaine Nigri was created in 1685 and has been owned and run by the Lacoste family for four generations. Today the estate is undergoing conversion to organic certification. 40% Petit Manseng; 60% Gros Manseng grown on clay-silica soils on the heat retaining pudding stone base rock that characterises the best vineyards. This sweet wine is late harvested in October without botrytis, but when the sugars, acidity and flavours have concentrated in the grapes. The Gros Manseng is matured in vat, while the Petit Manseng ages on lees in barrel. Aromas of dried peach and mango, hints of lime marmalade. Sweet and delicious with a lemony tang on the finish which gives freshness and balance; lighter than a Sauternes. This would be superb with fruit-based desserts where a touch of elegance is required as well as sweetness.
