Nahe Winery Donnhoff is one of the greatest contemporary German wine estates. The sloping vineyards of the Leistenberg are characterised predominantly by clay-slate soils, or Tonschiefer, which lend their name to this characterful dry Riesling. Fermented and matured in stainless steel vats and large oak barrels, this is a full-bodied, mineral white with a nose of lime, wet stone and tangerine. Great finesse and vibrancy.
