Description

The Manetti family has owned Fontodi since 1968 whilst Giovanni Manetti has run the property since 1980. His eye for detail and meticulous approach raised the quality level at Fontodi and is now recognised as an iconic name in Tuscany. The 90 hectares of vineyards, 90% being Sangiovese, are situated in the Golden Shell or ‘Conca d’Oro, a prime position within Panzano, within the Chianti Classico region. The area is known and renowned for its quality viticulture, specifically the high altitude, marly soils and high diurnal temperature range. The vineyards are now certified organic and Biodynamic principles are followed to ensure the finest quality grapes. Flaccianello della Pieve is the top wine of the estate year on year. Whilst, after some decanting these can be enjoyed fairly young, cellaring is highly recommended for 5 to 10+ years. 98 points Wine Advocate “The 2019 Flaccianello della Pieve is another stunning wine that sums up the character of the vintage and reflects the sun-drenched beauty of its quintessentially Tuscan surroundings. Delivery

Challenge 21 - You must be 18 or over to buy alcohol. You must not buy alcohol on behalf of those under 18. We apply the "Challenge 21" policy to all delivery and collection orders. We will not supply if the person receiving or collecting orders appears under the age of 21.

We charge a flat fee of £5.95 for delivery if your order is under 20kg, and £10 inc VAT if it is over 20kg. Free delivery is available for orders above £125 (inc VAT).

For Standard Delivery, we will ship items within 2 working days, provided the order is placed before midday.

For Express Delivery, we will ship items the same day, provided the order is placed before midday.

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipment confirmation email, and the following day, you will receive a text from our courier with a delivery window. If your order has not yet arrived, please email [email protected] and quote your order number.

Keep an eye out for your shipment confirmation email; once you get it, your order will be delivered the next day.

You have the right to cancel your order at any time without being charged for the goods ordered within 14 days of purchase.

If you call us after your item has shipped, we will be unable to cancel it and you will need to return to us.
