Description

Fuji Gotemba Distillery sits at the base of Mount Fuji, chosen for its pristine air, soft mountain water, and climate akin to Scotland’s Highlands. Founded in 1973 by Kirin with international whisky expertise, it remains one of the few distilleries in the world capable of producing malt and multiple grain whiskies under one roof. This gives Fuji unparalleled control over its blends, resulting in whiskies of exceptional integration and consistency.

Tasting Notes

Gentle notes of pear, apricot and vanilla are layered with subtle hints of caramel and baking spice. The palate is smooth and rounded, with delicate fruit sweetness, leading to a clean, mellow finish.
