Glen Grant 60 Year Old is a stunningly-concentrated edition of this Speyside single malt. Unlike the 10 & 18, which feature significant proportions of ex-bourbon barrels, this matured only in Oloroso sherry wood, being a single ex-Oloroso cask, filled in 1960. This is 1 of just 360 bottles filled of this Scotch, which is the oldest release from this distillery to date, released as a 60-year-old, to mark the 60th work anniversary at the distillery, of Master Distiller, Dennis Malcolm.

When we tasted it at the launch event in Rolls Royce's Mayfair showroom, surrounded by luxury, the whisky felt like it was at home there: it's a magnificent dram that oozes rich, opulent Sherry character - even the empty glass alone filled the air with it!

With layer after layer of dried fruit and spice, coupled with the polished mahogany notes and subtle tannins of long ageing, it goes on forever. One for connoisseurs and collectors.
