The KinGlassie Double Matured 8 Year Old is a heavily peated single malt from the Kingdom of Fife, distilled once each December. This bold whisky is double-matured, first for five years in ex-Bourbon American oak and then for three years in Montilla Amontillado casks. The result is described as "dimensions in smoke" with a fusion of smoke and tobacco complemented by rich layers of almonds and nuts.

We charge a flat fee of £5.95 for delivery if your order is under 20kg, and £10 inc VAT if it is over 20kg. Free delivery is available for orders above £120 (inc VAT).

For Standard Delivery, we will ship items within 2 working days, provided the order is placed before midday.

For Express Delivery, we will ship items the same day, provided the order is placed before midday.

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipment confirmation email, and the following day, you will receive a text from our courier with a delivery window. If your order has not yet arrived, please email [email protected] and quote your order number.

Keep an eye out for your shipment confirmation email; once you get it, your order will be delivered the next day.

You have the right to cancel your order at any time without being charged for the goods ordered within 14 days of purchase.

If you call us after your item has shipped, we will be unable to cancel it and you will need to return to us.

Description

InchDairnie Distillery was founded in 2015 by Ian Palmer on the site of an old mill near Glenrothes in Fife, Scotland. Designed with precision distilling at its core, it utilises advanced equipment, including a Lomond still, a mash filter, a hammer mill, and outdoor fermentation, to explore a diverse range of grain types, yeasts, and seasonal flavours. The distillery initially produced a rye whisky, RyeLaw, which launched in 2023, and has since expanded its capacity, with plans to double output while transitioning to green hydrogen power.
