The KinGlassie Double Matured 8 Year Old is a heavily peated single malt from the Kingdom of Fife, distilled once each December. This bold whisky is double-matured, first for five years in ex-Bourbon American oak and then for three years in Montilla Amontillado casks. The result is described as "dimensions in smoke" with a fusion of smoke and tobacco complemented by rich layers of almonds and nuts. See More

Description

InchDairnie Distillery was founded in 2015 by Ian Palmer on the site of an old mill near Glenrothes in Fife, Scotland. Designed with precision distilling at its core, it utilises advanced equipment, including a Lomond still, a mash filter, a hammer mill, and outdoor fermentation, to explore a diverse range of grain types, yeasts, and seasonal flavours. The distillery initially produced a rye whisky, RyeLaw, which launched in 2023, and has since expanded its capacity, with plans to double output while transitioning to green hydrogen power.
